What is it?

If you've ever updated your Windows installation, you may already know about service packs and updates. Microsoft frequently releases patches and updates for Windows (and its other applications). SP2 is a major update for Windows XP focusing extensively on improving security.

How does SP2 affect this site?

One of the biggest changes to Internet Explorer in SP2 is the addition of a pop-up blocker. At its default setting, any window that is not considered "user instantiated" (e.g. clicking a link) will be blocked and Internet Explorer will display a toolbar indicating it has blocked a pop-up.

How do I access this site's pop-ups?

Simply navigate as usual until you see Internet Explorer's Information Bar. When you click it, a context menu will be shown. All you need to do is click "Always Allow Pop-ups From This Site." Clicking "Temporarily Allow Pop-ups" will also work, but you will have to re-specify this option with subsequent visits to this site.
